Mari is in a hop up and coming band. She has reinvented herself from hight school. High school was not a good time for Mari. She was kicked on by the popular guys, which made her life awful. Now she is 23 and exactly where she wants to be.
Everything changes when Cole walks back in her life. He was one of the mean boys who treated her bad. Now, not recognizing her, is smitten with her. He does everything he can to win her over. There is something about her that Cole can't shake. Can they have anything when they have so much past between them?
I liked this story. It was ok. But I had an issue with the whole loving in the past thing. I mean, let'e be honest, did anyone really enjoy high school? I don't think it should dictate your life once you are out. Maybe I am old, but that is how I feel.
